I am working on a presentation that I'll deliver at CPCC's Sensoria Literary Festival April 17; Tate Hall at 9:30 a.m. The title of this will be "The Poem's Journey" and I'll take a close
look at a few poems, and draw heavily on Stephen Dobyns' book, Next Word, Better Word. What entices a reader into a poem and keeps him/her engaged throughout?
Certainly the title points "This way . . ." Then the opening lines and sentences. This presentation will explore the various possibilites of such a journey's
destination.
